Thailand Wonders

Guess what fruit is this.
(Cause it taste so much like apple, but I don't know what it is as well D:)

This look so European-ish

This was in a small village, and we ate dinner here.

Woop steamboat in the vintage looking restaurant.

Night falls after the dinner, and we walked ard before heading to their convenience store.

Their Magnum was only a dollar plus, it's CHEAPP. So we bought and had it for 'dessert'.

My gosh. Such ambience. The camera HD is to be thank, together with the sun's lighting.

This was the motel(?) we stayed, side by side.

It belongs to the owner of the motel.

Second Day:Nicer pictures are always enlarge woo.

This was taken after our breakfast, which is very much western style instead of Thailand style. Nevertheless, it was still awesomeee.

Fujifilm Camera

WOOO I'm flying to Thailand tmr and I'm so exciteddd. I heard we are staying at a villa that has a beautiful scenery of flowers, and there will be tons of things to buy! I have a whole list of em.

Besides that, another great news. I WON A FUJIFILM CAMERA. This is awesome!

WOO. I'm not sure whether it's a fraud or the real thing.

But it's not everyday that I won sometime, especially something as big as this HAHHA, so I gotta share the excitement, in other words, brag about it.

Manga taste

I think I started reading manga in my secondary school days. Truthfully, I forgot how I was introduced to it, neither do I remember my first manga. I think, THINK, I found what manga was when anime was first introduce to me, I remembered my first anime though. It was Clannad. It's a really meaningful film and I was addicted to the anime culture for a while, before I realise that reading manga was more towards my taste.

Though I don't remember my first manga, I know what my taste went from then till now. It has changed ALOT. I remembered being so into romance and shoujo manga at the start. And I can proudly say, that I've read thru like nearly 1/2 of the romance manga provided back then. Pftt I don't have a life. I was really into the gender bender genre, but I am NOT into yaoi or yuri. I've tried and I just find it uncomfortable. But hey, everyone have different taste, maybe it's just me since yaoi is liked by almost every girl, which is something I don't and will never understand. I remembered Basara(great piece), IS(this teaches me a lot of stuff), Hani Kimi(duh), Hwang Mi Ri(manhwa) and many more. My favourite piece from this genre was Savage Garden, and I still read it once in a while.

The next phase was one-shot manga. I remembered being frustrated at mangas that are not completed, especially the chapters that stopped at the climax, so I told myself I would only read manga that are completed. To prevent myself from being irritated when waiting. Anddd that motto stayed till today ahha. I was still really into romance genre, except now it has turned to the one-shot ones, until a particular manga.

It was 'Mars'. It was a romance and physiological genre, and it was completed heh. It was, and still is, one of my favourite manga. The story has a lot of depth inside the characters, the ambience and the story. I was emotionally scarred, being the young me at that time, who wasn't expose to such deep stories. Then, I found out that psychological stories are really interesting. So I shifted my view/searching to the that genre, and most of the time, it would be mixed with horror, or violence

I was horrified at the start. I remembered getting nightmares after reading some of those that were really.. grusome. I was a pussy lol. I remembered Akumetsu, Holyland, Gantz, Money is Life and more. They were the one that stood out.

Just recently, I finished Kiseijuu, and the most recent Dr Frost ahha, which is 2 days ago, it has stopped updating last year. I always read those that is not updated for a year or more. Sometimes when I'm lucky, it is completed, otherwise, it's not and it will never be updated - which is good as I don't have to go back searching whether it has updated or not.

Now, my genre is COMPLETED manga ahha. Though it is a bad thing, as I'll miss out a lot of really good manga that is ongoing. But eventually, they'll be completed and I'll read them. I won't have to wait till then heh. I've finished Tokyo Ghoul and Slam Dunk which are really popular when it's ongoing, but I waited till it was completed to start, so my patience level is really high heh.

OF course, sometimes when the manga is really 'HOT', I would still read them. Like Noblesse and SnK. Levi's charisma is da best ~.~

Let me share the joy with you

Second down

The second paper, accounting, ended. Last paper tomorrow woo. The paper today was alright, nothing too hard, neither is it easy. So overall, I can guarantee a pass heh, such confidence, but hey, I did it and it's gauge on my level of difficulty.

Gotta shout yay at the last paper and off to the two weeks holiday woo~~

"If hating school is a strange symptom, then half of the country would have mental illness. I rather counsel someone who enjoys school" - Dr.Frost manga 15. LOL funniest thing I've heard in a while, he must counsel me then heh.

Just finished Lessa manwha as well. Really well-written~ And I'm so in love with him woo. It's not everyday you encounter characters that are silver-haired, and I love how his eyes are drawn omgg.

Sure it's small, BUT LOOK at his charisma. Can't handle... his style

 OMGGGGG CAN'T.HANDLE.THIS.

First paper OOP

Ayee I'm having the second paper tomorrow, and here I am distracting myself again. Damn accounting, because I see it as something easy, I don't make the effort to even try studying. And as always, the paper will prove me wrong, and I'll regret the decision of  not studying as hard as I should have.

But really, accounting is all about the practices and numbers, so I can't really study like how I do for papers that requires memorising and stuff, like the paper on Wed nien. Though there is some theory we ought to know, but that's it. I can't spend my whole day studying for it ._. I have a life, on the internet... that's equivalent to not having one ;-;

Oh well, the paper today was easyyy. Bcoz It's programming, my favourite among all the current module. And if the module is easy, I'll like it. Pretty much like math, and that's why I like math. There's no need for lengthy answer, which may be incorrect even though you provide the correct point. Math always have that one answer so I won't have to worry about bullshitting after writing the correct point they want pft.

Nevertheless, accounting tomorrow is similar to math and programming, so I hope it will go well. Go go.

LlaoLlao first try

This particular Sunday, we brought the 3 kiddos out together with the 2 brothers.
We ate and walked around the popular convention centre. After that we went to John Little, before passing the underpass to raffles city.

We tried the so called 'famous' yogurt store, llaollao, as we walked in the underpass. Well, it was okay. I didn't taste anything special, or different, from the regular yogurt in a regular yogurt shop. It amazes me why the queue is always so long for something as ordinary as this. I guess that supported the statement 'Singaporeans like to queue' haii.

Nevertheless, it is still nice, it's just that I don't see why it deserves the long queue compared to yoguru for example. No wait, I can. My assumption, because it is still new. I'll wait a couple more month to see whether there is still a queue, and that if those teenagers, like me, will still take a picture every time they eat it ha.ha.

Behold the so-called popular yogurt.
Well, I provided a picture to make up for the entire passage pft

Secretary, and Photoshop

I got selected as Secretary for the Art Appreciation Club! Woo this is awesome. Although I placed publicity as the first choice, but truthfully, both position are the same level of 'yes please' for me. The advisor met me and the programmer yesterday, some do's and don'ts about the club. OH and the programmer is PRETTY, and she have the aura of power *.*. So for now, I'll take it was I'm lucky to be working with her heh.

I remembered a question the interviewer asked was 'whether I have Photoshop' and I told him I don't have it. Anddd after that, I realised I did have Photoshop CS6 in my laptop, so I explored it. It AMAZED ME. We can do so many things to a mere picture, and there are way more function then I thought there would be! SOO after figuring out which function is which, I made my first ever Photoshop picture woo.

AHHA not bad for a beginner I hope. Placed all my favourite pictures together, and I thought it would be too messy, but I guess it's alright in the end woo.

Pft I have papers on Monday while I'm playing with this shit. I even figured how to transfer music from the disc to my phone. great ACCOMPLISHMENT today.

Interview for Exco

Next week is the exams! 3 papers - OOP ACC EIS. Prepare myself for the battle Noo.

Well to update about life, the teacher handed us a new EIS report that we need to submit when school re-opens Noo. Currently, I no-ed twice, that's some serious shit.

I can't concentrate on the huge amount of information at once, so I gave myself a 15 min break, well, who knows if I might extend it, so I'm typing thiss. It's not really considered as a break if I'm still on my screen lol. Guess that means I just dont feel like studying OHho, dem excuses.

My interview to be an Exco member for Art's Appreciation club just ended. I wasn't that prepared as I thought it would be all 'fun and game' since I know the interviewers. Turns out, there were some pretty serious question inside, and I was flabbergasted. The part where they asked for my GPA seems redundant, regardless, I must thank my memory for always forgetting as I can't remember the exact value of it. Ha. Ha. Oh well, it has ended. Stuttered on some, but I think I fared alright throughout the conversation. Lemme hope that I could enter the committee go go.

AFA 2014

With Kel to AFA 2014~~

Handsomeee omg. They put it as display but they are not selling it! Pity, because I would buy it.

This cosplayer is so so pretty! Among the other pictures, I only chose this to post because of her. They must be promoting Mayu, the vocaloid, fast as we received quite a bit of her merchandise after this photo was taken.

They are big shots. We even need tickets to take pictures with them ._. The purple-hair dude is not baddd.

He is like, "Meh, I'm sick of this shit."

Free tattoos

We were queuing up to take pictures with 3 famous cosplayers when this photo was taken. To my disappointment, they were not as good-looking as they were in the photos of their 'photo taking session'. We were fooled.

He is apparently some big shot too. It was a duo and the guitarist was good-looking, but his face is so similar to the lead that it looks as if they're twins. Those screaming fan-gurls with their swooshing hair.. But the duo was pretty cool, and I still don't know their name even after them ending their stage.

All the freebies

Sho cute

Overall, it was better compared to my first time there. I remembered having to squeeze thru the crowds, and that buying merchandise was a rush, as there was too many people pushing me and Sab that we don't have the time to browse thru the merchandise peacefully ;-; Oh the experience, I didn't like it.

This time around, the crowd started coming in at 3pm +, and we reached there in the late morning, 11+, so there wasn't much people. Thus we have the time to wander at our own pace without being pushed, until around 3+ where moving was practically the same as my experience in 2012.

There were tons more cosplayers at the floor below. But meh, That's it.

Went for dinner at bukit timah shopping centre, chicken/chai siew rice in the foodcourt at the corner. It was pretty good.

Going smooth

Aye, 2 more weeks before the paper and it will be the start of the 2 weeks holiday!
And right after the papers, which end on Friday, I will be flying off to Thailand for a vacation woo. How excitinggg. I heard the stuff there are SUPER cheap and that some couldn't even be found here. I also fell in love with Thai Tea which is AWESOME, I tried it at a store in bugis and I find the taste so unique and heavenly. So my current goal in Thailand is to: Drink their Thai Tea HAHHA.

I took this outside school while waiting for MaMa's car. They went to Takashimaya and was otw to buy their dinner, with mum. Sooo along the way, they fetch me and off to the Bukit Batok hawker centre. The hokkien mee is niceeee.

This bottle of cookie is COSTLY. I guess the taste was reasonable for the price bought(duh, why else would it be so expensive), and the design of the can is vintage. Points for the display.

Taylor's Keds sneakers

On a fine morning, I received my teenage magazine as usual, and started flipping the pages of what feels like my textbook. Till I arrived on the page of Taylor's Keds give-away. The question they asked was "What was the latest design of  Taylor Swift's Keds?". If my answer is correct, I'll win a pair of sneakers worth $79. At that point, I thought "What? So I'll just answer this and win a pair of shoes for free. How worth it". I didn't know the answer, even Googled, but the results were fruitless. So picking what seems like the most legit answer, I replied 'polka dots'. Putting the stamp on and placing it in the mail box. I thought for sure I won't get it. But I placed it in anyway as it's worth the try, since that stamp cost only 20 cents. And my mum was trying to clear the stamp box, which has tons of old stamps that we weren't sure if it is still usable. So it was a win-win situation. Clearing a stamp, and having a 1% chance of winning a pair of shoes for free. Ha. Ha.

I forgot about the mail, till one late evening. My dad returned home and he said a letter was addressed to me. I thought that was particular, since I don't receive mail often, and this wasn't the time of the month to receive school letters. Jumping off the couch, I perfected 3 somersault before landing with one knee in front of the table that held the mysterious letter. I, then slowly, and stealthily, place both my hands at the edge of the table and peeked at the suspicious-looking paper, before my mother shouted at me to 'just grab the letter'. Frustrated that my cover was blown, I took it and tore open the part where it says tear - said by no one ever, well, except me. Welcomed by the rows of words, that almost blinded me, I skipped to the most important part of every letter, the bold words. I gasped as I absorbed what was in front of my eyes, I cannot believed it was true....... I was expelled from ninja school. Noooooo.

Hah. Hah. Just joking. The letter said  I won a pair of TAYLOR'S sneakerssss. How exciting.

Wooo.

I received it on Wednesday, and my dad was free on the coming Friday, so today, we went to the company to collect the sneakers! We climbed to the second story of the company building and strolled to the second door on the right. Along the way, there were offices of other magazine company, like the national geographic. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an old woman who doesn't seem too friendly. She demanded my IC and scooted somewhere which I could no longer see her. I waited with my mum at the entrance of the office, or room. and saw the poster of GG and Super Junior with signatures on it. There was also a display box, filled with trophies, which I don't give a damn.

She returned with a letter on her hand, presenting us with this voucher. Apparently, we came here to get another paper, when they can just mail it to me -.-

My dad fetched us to bugis, and from there we took the MRT to takashimaya. I bought Cw's birthday present while I was in bugis. We walked at Kinokuniya and ate ajisen for lunch

We then spent near 15 mins picking out which design of T.S collection. Truthfully, there isn't any that is true to my liking. So I picked the one that has the most value, typical me. The expensive gold one.
Even the box is awesome

Navy blue, with gold polka-dots & cutting. How. Vintage.
I made the shoelace myself hehh.

Overall, the reason why I picked this was because of the guitar pick thingy at the side, it matches the gold cutting of the sneakers. I really like the guitar pick, it adds on to everything of T.S's design.

SO YAY. It's really prettyyyy. It was also the last pair of it's design WOO.

BCR day

We get to stay home and and the teacher teach us through the computer woo. Just woke up and now I'm exploring the different clicks itself. How. Interesting. We had one BCR day last semester. I remembered everyone being kicked out of the room as there was an error in the system. Ahha good times. The teacher then sent a mass sms to us, to get us back in. I have forgotten whether we were able to get back in or not.

I hope the system would encounter an error again so that we can all experience the awesome joy woo. I sound horrible.

Typing this now while waiting for the BCR to download. It's taking so long. I hope it won't be this way when I'm downloading it for the next lesson.

Just a quick thing.

(I thought he was handsome before, but !@#$%^&)

Jor's BD

We went to East Coast to celebrate Jor BD. It's a buffet lunch!! That place is so cool with fish tanks welcoming the guest and a beautiful lay-out of dessert of the buffet table. THAT is when I started wondering "Where's the food?" For all I see is the dessert. Then POW, we gotta order the food from the waiter, but it's still a buffet. The most unique one I've been to.

The dishes in the menu was so classy! It looks like the one you'll get during a wedding banquet. Those that are served in a large plate and we have the small plates, to placed the scooped food onto it. Anyway, the food there is AWESOMEEE. And I felt that it was really worth the price paid as I get to eat a whole lobster. WHOLE. Topped with burnt grated cheese and the lobster itself was huge! Imagine eating that in Jack Place, which can easily cost like $50 or even more.  But we paid like $38.98 for a person, including BUFFET. This meant that we can eat other tons of delicacy besides the lobster itself. HOW worth it.

I ate fried salted prawn, which tasted a lot like prawn topped with potato chips. Mushroom, abalone(even abalone!), shark fin, dong fen, porridge and many many more. Though for some dishes we can only order it once, specifically one serving for one person, but it was enough.8

Lastly, like every good buffet restaurant, the DESSERT. I have to emphasize. Afterall, for every buffet restaurant, the dessert section always have the prettiest display, of puddings, cake and ice cream, though for this restaurant they don't provide ice cream. But they have ice jelly, almond paste and local delicacy, like oneh oneh. They have this one particular dessert in a cup, which contain thai chestnut mixed with coconut. My mum love it a lot. Initially I thought it was strawberry as it was in a deep pink colour, but it turns out to be these small pink little chestnuts. I tried one, it was sweet and crunchy like an apple, and maybe because it is like that, I didn't liked it lol. But it was the prettiest among the other "dessert in a cup".

I manage to take a picture of two dessert in a cup!

Damnn, that is the only photo I took among the beautiful journey of gourmet. I guess I pretty much understood why people love to take pictures of food, for some are so prettily decorated! For those who take a photo of every food they eat, that I still don't understand. The spoon to scoop the inside of the small cup is SHO small and cute! If only I can share the joy. It was the length of my index finger, it was so thin and it's in black! I was so infatuated by the size that I almost stole one home. Haiii

Alone time

Headed to Holland market for breakfast with the little emperor and my aunt. Ate fishball noodles and proceeded home by 1pm. Pretty much watched random videos on youtube and now there is nothing left for me to do, so I'm typing this.

Tomorrow, I'll be starting my lesson for DRIVING. It's the theory lesson first, and after that the practical. Let's pray that I can pass the theory paper, after 4 lessons.

"Time Alone"
That is something I developed after entering poly, more time alone than socialising. I'm not even sure if that's because people are tired to deal with, or I have matured pftt. To start off, I realised it when a group of people asked me out, have fun or sort, and my immediate thought was "I'm not even close to you guys, I rather stay home". And after that I jolted to "Since when did I not anticipate socialising". I'm not a popular person, and I guess that's why if people call me out or smth, I'll agree almost immediately if there is nothing on that day. In the past, though it's just only a year back lol.

Now, when people asked me out, I would cringed internally. Then I'll make up whatever legit reason I can to avoid the meet-up. I don't hate them, or dislike, them. They are great people. Some even respectable. I even like most them. To sort out my thoughts, I'll dedicate this to a specific groups of people. Note: Groups. GroupS.

Why stopped yourself?

Being left out inside a clique.
When I have nothing else to say, I'll sit there to listen, and eventually when I wanted to say something, more people will express the same thought, so I'm like invisible since there are tons of people making the same comment. At the same time, when I literally have nothing to say. That means I'll stay outside the conversation until something I know comes in. And during the moment when I stay silent, I don't know what to do. I like listening, but eventually, you'll find out that they are not trying to include you inside the conversation. And this sucks. It's true that there are times where I'm "choosing to be left out", but if it's something that I can join in, I really want my thoughts to be heard.

Trying to too hard

I'll have to think up questions when the situation is awkward. There is bound to be a time when you're stuck alone with this person you're not close with, and he/she is not even trying to make the conversation. I, not all the time, is forced to make the conversation and sometimes I don't even know what to ask. "You have a choice to stay silent like that person, no one is forcing you." I KNOW. And if everyone thinks that way, then this will be an awkward world. Some are fine with being silent, the "in a moment" thing, but I'm not. I would appreciate it a lot if people ask me questions, for this mean they make an effort to even try. And because I liked it if people make an effort, I would do the same to ask them too. That is how you MAKE friends. We are not close, I get it, but at least make an effort to be interested, especially when you are ALONE with someone. I would asked and you would answer, that's that. I'm trying to hard to please you when you're not even trying. Even to people that I've known for so long. I'm NOT that boring.

Why go ahead?
I genuinely like the people whom I'm going out with
This is simple enough to understand. The number of people I genuinely like is only 3, that number look pathetic. This meant that if they were to call me out, on the day itself even, I'll be like "Leggo" if I have nothing planned. And if we were to go out, it'll be one to one, or in a small group. There won't be any difference going in a big group with like 6-8 people, and then separating into smaller clique inside the huge number. So I rather we both, or three, just hang out. "The more the merrier" only applies to situation needed, like a celebration for example. But If one really wanted a bonding session, having a small clique is actually better. Wait, back to the point, or to summarise, I like having that particular companion to talk to, so for that person, I don't mind hanging out. In fact I'll be excited to hang out. I don't even mind joining a bunch of people I have absolutely no interest in. Well, not all the time. And the occasional time that I did, I would usually cursed myself for making the wrong decision. But I was willing to do it again in the future so, hey, I'm a pretty good friend. Ha. Ha.

Guess that's pretty much all on the pros and cons list.
But, in the end..
I enjoy what I'm doing alone
To perverts, they'll think 'omg fap'. But no. The fact is, I'm more comfortable hanging out in front of my computer, reading manga, staring out the window, playing spy, pretending to be an awesome dancer, singer, actor and.... well, many more to come. Oh shit corny. I just like being in my own thoughts and world, where I can think about everything and anything. I like thinking about the worst case scenario and acting out what I would do in my head. I like the little knick-knacks sitting in my space; The smell of this green tea scent thing on my table; The music playing when I'm stoning in the library; The silence itself in a classroom. Alone. In a solitude environment.  How peaceful.

Here's another round of "I'll end it here".

First formal Presentation

I'm writing this in his lesson, again. The presentation ended, and I guess we fared pretty well. Though his never ending interruption is still there. He was, surprisingly, quiet during my turn. Sure he was distracted with a classmate coming inside the class, but I must really thank him. If not, I'll have to answer his bombing questions. He made some comment on the slides, about some do's and don't, but overall, he remarked that it was pretty well done. Ahhah thank you. I have to say that majority of the slides are done by me, so of course it'll be well-done. Conceited much. So shameless. But I didn't voiced it out, for I can take the credit silently. Plus, the power-point is the easiest part of a presentation and, if I can choose to either present or do the slides, I would rather do the slides. Less trouble for answering the teacher's question, to add on, HIS questions, and some of it doesn't even make sense.

Now he is going through some running number field and object-oriented model. I'll stop here for now, back to his lesson with my eyelid dropping.

Wee no sch

Today's programming lesson was changed to yesterday so woo.

Woke up in the morning and headed to Fajar for breakfast. I had prawn noodles with baguette. And I managed to see little emperor againnnn. He is still sho cute. Honestly, I have never seen a baby cuter than him LOL. I sound conceited.

I did my EIS tutorial and the rough overview of the presentation on Monday! And now I'm typing this as I was bored halfway.

Was listening to T.S album once more, and I guess those songs which were really nice, happens to stay nice. You know how good songs tends to lose the feeling after a few more repeats, but the good ones in her album stays the same and I'm really glad. At least I won't get sick of it after awhile like most songs I heard. My current ones are 'How you get the Girl' and "I know places".

Here's a really beautiful artwork of one of my favourite artist!

T.S album!!

We are learning about real estate now. Some shit about commercial office and industrial buildings. Such information can never enter my mind. The accounting lesson later is cancelled, and initially, this was suppose to be the last lesson of the day. Butt it was replaced with OOP programming so we have no classes tmr, yay. We'll be doing the group work later for our presentation on Monday, and no we have to wear formal. That means I have to wear the white blouse and black skirt no. Either way, I'm changing out of it after the presentation itself. As if I'm gonna wear that tight skirt the whole day, imagine the trouble I have to go through walking like a model. Not that models are bad, but because I can't walk in a straight line, which is sad.

Now the teacher is going through some sort of shares and warrant.

Re-updating this post now that I'm at home with a lot of free time before I start on my tutorial. Today is apparently ICT day. And the lobby is filled with games, goodies bag and like every cool party, there is helium balloons. That was the highlight - HELIUM balloons. I stole one and took it back home where it will die slowly, and peacefully.

I also managed to steal a goodie bag which contained 'Hello Panda' and maggie mee. And there was this lovely handwritten quote together with all the sweet tidbits.

"The biggest risk you will ever take is not taking one at all"

And also this awesome ICT 2014 sticker. Which now belong to my daily dairy.

What happened yesterday. 12112014
MY MUM bought me Taylor Swift's 1989 album! I was so hyped when saw it sitting on my study table after a long day. I didn't even utter a word of wanting the album and she bought it for me, it was crazy! I only wanted the 'polariod' of the album, but not really the CD as I don't have a player at home, and the genre in her current album wasn't to my ultimate liking. Still, I was way more happier than I expect myself to be. I guess this was one of the pleasant surprise that all drama or movie tend to feature, of their 'over-dramatic' reaction. Like the 'cover my mouth with both hands' and 'jumping about with excitement' thing. I didn't do both, but it was enough to understand how they feel if I'm the type to do so.

SO yeah, I dug out a CD player and hear what it had to offer. True enough, it wasn't my cup of tea. Though some of her songs were pretty good, the rest are just noises. As much as I appreciate her change in both music and person, I guess I'll still always like her younger style in terms of her music. After-all, I'm a 'slow song' person, but she'll always be one of my favourite artist. Note to self: ONE of the many artist in my book.

The polariods are AWESOME! (as expected) There was so much feel and ambience in them.
A file came with the album! She rock it.

First day of week 2

Damn I'm typing this in his lesson again. This mean something, he is just that boring. What he is teaching, I can read it all on my own. His occasionally crack in his voice sounds addicting - I don't mean it in any other way, it sounds really cool.

Sunday.
We went to Suntec City. Mainly due to some sort of Hello Kitty convention that is held there, which does not happen often and my aunt and I was really interested. So right after our brunch, we headed straight to the venue where it's held and disappointingly, it was a hello kitty.. RUN. It's just a booth to sign up for a run in Sentosa. So damnnnnn, our hopes for their merchandise was perished when we have to pay like $75 for the run together with the goodie bag. What's the point yo. I ain't paying to make myself suffer. I'm not exactly an athletic person, though I like team plays, but running is definitely a no no for me.

After our enthusiasm diminish, we went to burger king for sprite float and headed to John little. And there we met a legal con lady, a person whom we spent $79 to when one can go for the run, a salesperson who manage to convince my parent to buy a luggage when we don't really need one. Not to mention the glue stain on that last piece eh. But oh either way, it was a really pretty coral blue luggage so I'm fine with it *cough* The colour is really pretty.

After a long and hard consideration where to go after the long debate whether to buy the luggage, we decided on Bugis.

We ate at a restaurant on the outskirts of bugis, and its where my family always went to when we were young! The sweet and sour pork chop is still as scrumptious as I remember, but this time they separated the sauce from the meat. We ordered vegetables, chicken and clay-pot lamb as well.

Guess that's all for today. Bye Bye.

The start of Sem 2

Today is Day 1 of the new semester. My emotion is a mixture elated and sadness thinking about my friends as well as... the projects argh. But its going to be fun, after all. if life is easy, I don't know what will happen as nothing will ever happen.

The first teacher to start the next half of the year sounds really tired. Maybe he is influenced by our presence, knowing how tired we are to wake up early in the morning after 2 months of waking up late. He don't seem to care what his students are doing, and I'm grateful for that fact. Time seems to pass slowly on the first day of school, maybe it's due to the morning light, or maybe it's the teacher, I don't know. I hope I can pay attention to him more rather than typing this, and I hope I can pay attention to his lessons in the future. *sob*

We went to eat DimSum yesterday for lunch before heading to grandma's house. For dinner, we went to this hawker centre which is famous for its hor fun, and again, I'm not a person who can differentiate good food from average ones, but this particular hor fun sparks my taste bud, and I can tell you confidently, it is good food. The slight burnt taste of the kway teow with the well-toned sauce.. I don't think any hor fun I've eaten so far can be compared to this, and for that I'm grateful that my cousin made this suggestion to my grandma/father to bring us there. They are always the decision-makers in my father's side.

I'll stop here for now, and I have yet to update the Japan trip to you guys. Sad but oh well, that's that. Thanks for reading this and wasting 5-7 min of your life. BYE!

HEYYY

It's the first day of October so I thought of writing something special. BUT nah 'thought of ' but there is nothing significant to end the month of September. The holiday flew passed in a blink of an eye and I haven't posted for a month. The vacation in Japan is still not updated.

Speaking about Japan it was AMAZING. I'll leave the rest to the actual blog post. Hopefully, I can still remember the small details that occurred in the trip - memory please don't fail me

.TOMORROW I'm going to Adventure cove with the sec gang woo. It is said to be the upgraded version of wild wild wet and I'm excited for the waters! It's been years since I've entered the blues, and waves, and BLUES. Hopefully the sun would die down a bit to prevent sunburn and tan.

That's all for today. HELLO OCTOBER and see you AGAIN SEPTEMBER!

Day 1 and 2 of Japan

I must update fast before my feel of writing disappear.

P.S I realise I can change the date of the blog post, so I assigned it here, making if look as if I really wrote it after the trip haha.

8 September - Day 1

The day of going to Japan finally came! I remembers being so excited as we were going to sit the Japan airline! Oh well, I'm ma jump to the time when we already arrive there.

Our first hotel happen to be inconvenient as there were no mama shop nearby. So if we needed water, we had to either boil, or buy it from a shopping mall which required a shuttle bus to get to. And yes, we went to the shopping mall for dinner, brought by the tour guide himself.

The dinner was a buffet restaurant which is SO VERYYY heavenly. The food was scrumptious and the ambience of the restaurant is warm and friendly! My favourite was the tender beef and OF course, the dessert! They were so cute and tiny. Even the plates are tiny. So I'm forced to take small portion at a time, though I was famished.

The cranberry dessert was DELICIOUS!

And after the pleasant dinner, we shopped around the HUGE mall but we didn't have the time to finish walking! Luckily the tour guide said we will be back here for our last say as the hotel was near the international airport. We went back to the hotel in the late evening, slept and anticipated the next day!

9 September - Day 2

We had breakfast in the buffet provided by the hotel, before proceeding to the Osaka Castle. It was a castle that was once inhabited by the King in the olden century. It was amazing.

The green moss covered the entire river that once surrounded the castle.
The remaining river will do the same after a few more centuries lol.
And here's the walk to and from the castle.
The weather was cooler than what the picture depicts.

The children with yellow hats looks EXACTLY like the cartoon show Crayon Shinchan.
It reminded me of someone.

I remembered eating Ice-cream after that as the weather started to heat up, and I ate peach if I'm not wrong ho. After the whole castle thing, we took a long bus ride to Universal Studios Japan.
I have to state a FACT. There was PEOPLE everywhere. Like I can't even walk into some shops as it was filled with people to the BRIM. The tour guide did warn us that Japanese LOVE to queue, like us Singaporeans, but it was ridiculously crowed. I guess we only managed to played 2 rides(ONLY 2?! That's crazy). The first was JAWS, and it was really unexpected and frightening, like I'm experiencing the real thing omg. Highly recommended.

WE entered the Hogwarts area, after we printed our 'booking time'. And it was so VERY peaked with humans. We have to squeeze our way through the crowd, even though there were a lot of them leaving, but I guess twice the amount is coming in. The booking time slot thingy didn't help in managing the crowd, at all.

However, still, the way they designed the place really fits the theme! (Duh) They have the movie music played everywhere, such atmosphere heheeeh.

Argh girl, you destroyed my photo.

OMG THE hogwarts castle!! I was enthralled.

Hagret's Abode!! Along the queue we spotted Buckbeak as well!

That was taken when we are queuing up for the second attraction. It was a short roller coaster ride and the waiting time was approximately 45 mins. It was crazy. Nonetheless, I was underestimating it as there wasn't any sharp drops, or loops. And I'm a person who prefer thrilling ride over slow ones, and I prefer not queuing to anything. Wait, back to the main point, so I thought 'pft this is gonna be a boring ride', and I guess, overall, it's fun! Though it lasted for a minute or less. I remembered a drop that was exhilarating, and I guess that was worth the queue ahah.

We bought a root beer thingy, again there was a long queue, but we get to keep the cup! We saw tons of people holding it around the place, but this was the area where they actually bought it. Needless to say, we bought it as a souvenir and a refreshment after the long wait and short ride. We also can't enter the souvenir shop due to... well I emphasized the reason enough.

For dinner, we went to this sushi restaurant right outside our hotel!
Oh for the record, our hotel was really near USJ and there was a street of shops connecting it from our hotel to the amusement park! We had ton of choices of restaurant to eat from, but we chose the sushi one as the tour guide recommended it. I guess we really trusted our tour-guide.

Turns out, it was pretty ordinary. The sushi was topped with raw shashimi, the really regular type, and that was it. I guess we were spoiled by the amount of choices of sushi in Singapore, like sushi topped with beautifully designed fried crab, fried prawn, crabmeat and more. Add on, if we didn't feel like eating sushi, we can choose from bento to ramen to udon, in Singapore that is. So I was expecting more in Japan! Guess the place that sushi originated from remains traditional without any other modification. In the end, I like the ones we had in sg more lol.

Turning in for the night, we retrieved our luggage and headed up. We happened to be the last in the group to return to our hotel as our luggage was the only ones left lol.
