Description

I was exploring the settings of bloggers - again, and I realise that there's a description box that was left empty. So I thought "Might as well fill it up". And I did, turns out, the words in the description box was placed in the middle of the flower picture (on top of this blog), and the Title. It's so ugly. SO I deleted it. But I spent near 2 minutes writing the message out so it's a waste to just delete it. Thus, Imma SHARE IT HERE.

A simple life is all I seek. Oh wait. I've already found it. Here's to my family, who gave me everything I could never imagine. My friends, who never left. My teachers, for even remembering my name. And lastly, to the non-existent 2D guys in Manga.... WHY.

Ohho It's Monday again

2 more Mondays before the holidays start yipeee. I've completed the report that needs to be submitted on Friday, and the program as well. Two weight has been lifted of my shoulders, so there should be a celebration. WHERE is the fireworks? I did my work a few days before the deadline, I should hear cheering damn.

Cough, okay there is a presentation tomorrow(again man) for comiss. Just finished the slides and truthfully, I no longer feel anything for presentation nowadays, since it's so very common. I guess there's at least one presentation every month, so it's pretty much the same thing, and I doubt I can improve in any of my speaking since I don't feel as nervous as I did when school started.

Speaking of my first presentation - I forgot how it went. Most probably freaking out, stuttering, shivering unconsciously or whatever small symptoms of stage frights. But oh well, what's forgotten should remain forgotten.

It's those rare days when I finish what's planned for the night, with more time than usual to spent - 9.30pm. SOOooooooo MANGA, I MISSED you so much. It's been days, I have the whole list of em, I wonder which I should start WEEee




Re-updating this, I completed Wedding Season (1 and 2). It was alright 7/10, the art is beautiful though.

Friday school

Ohho, it's amazing that I'm in school on Friday - as for every Friday, since this semester starts, I've been skipping lessons. Okay not, I just happen to complete the practical that we need to hand in on Friday, soooo once completed, we are allowed to 'skip' Friday lessons woo. Alas, it's no more. From now till the holiday, lessons on Friday are compulsory as the major assignment has started. NIEN.

Okk now to update on life so far. I'm going to the 'White Rabbit Red Rabbit' play this evening, in Explanade. Such a grand place. I'll just update this in the future.

AND bam, I miraculously watched and updated on the same day - lol. Re-updating this. The play was unexpectedly deep. Initially, I thought it would be some sort of drama play I've seen in Secondary school, and I was not anticipating it. To add on, the actor of the play is a so-called 'star', so I thought, that the people who came to watch will be all over him, regardless of whether they are interested in the play. So here I am, writing in after a pleasant surprise, as his voice and emotions really brings out what the writer protray inside words. So here's to the new found respect I have for local talent ahha.

The play, again, was really deep. It makes me think of stuff in the world that doesn't happen to me, and I applaud the writer since that was what he want us to feel, and think, in the first place, so it's pretty much a success in my opinion. Then again, it will never be fully brought out without a good actor. It's refreshing and I don't mind going to this types of play which holds a deeper meaning than just the surface itself. So here's another, to the new found love I have for plays - CHEERS YO.

Went for Crystal Jade in Plaza Sin (Today, 24 Jan), walked around and had dinner at Teppenyaki. And oh I missed the taste of their venison meat haa

"Brutal"

I used to have so much free time.. Where has the days gone to. Anyway, I did a lot of my work today, so I feel accomplished enough to write this - without feeling guilty.

As always, manga seems to be appearing everywhere, when they know I'm not allowed to start a series. Why life why. Can't you give it to me when the holiday start. when I have nothing to do but whine about why I have nothing to do. Isn't it better when I have all the time in the world to slowly appreciate the story and art, without rushing to see when the next assignment is due. Don't you understand the life of a student who is balancing out between studies and free time.. DONCHUU.....Understand.. my.. needs.... Okay.... Now I feel bad, as somewhere, same time, on the other side of the planet, someone is having it worst than me, and here I am complaining of things as trivial as this... I shall stop.

Again, let's look on the brighter(when I typed 'brighter', it automatically correct it to 'brutal' LOL) things in life..

OH wait, I do have something. My dad brought home two iPadAir, which was given as a gift from his friend - why is he so kind! I was setting up the new features and blah, and since now I have an officially device that I owned, I can personalised it all to my liking! Though the one that was shared last time was also personalised to my liking(LOL), but now I can do it all over again woo.

I never hated decorating stuff, though sometimes when I'm half-way through, I lose the motivation, still, the end product is always worth the effort. I can't do those kind of stuff any-more(well, actually, for these past few months) as the time, and motivation, to make those rarely comes like it did in the past. I guess this means..... I'm old NOO. Those youthful days, how much I miss them ;-;

Sky Blue Jeans

His lesson once more.

We went to Vivocity yesterday, to collect the altered jeans I bought on Sat. It's sky blue colour, and I don't know how long it has been since I started searching for the perfect sky blue jean. AND I found it! 

Saturday - I stayed in school in the morning to helped out in AAC. Initially, I wanted to go back home after that, and complete another IS of my report. In the end.... yx and I went around NP to collect free goodies. So accomplish. Much productive. I thought there would be a lot of stuff to collect, but there wasn't much, and some didn't even entertain us haii. Maybe it's my NP shirt damnn, wrong timing to wear my school tee, it's a dead give-away.

After aimlessly walking around schools to schools, our last destination was the library. Yx booked a room initially to study too. The plans we made went haywired LOL. I read Silent Kiss while I waited for my parents, and off to VivoCity. Ate Sushi Tei for dinner, and their salmon is still so juicy dayum.

Back to EIS now, but before that..

Open house

The open house started today, though I'm helping out tmr and sat. Booths are set up and music was playing everywhere, and the best part, is that there are people all around saying 'good morning' AHHA Feeling all pumped up in the morning due to their (funny) friendliness, if only that happen everyday, going to school can never be more pleasant ohho.

During the break, we went to the engineering booths.. why? To get the free goods they are giving AHAHA. All we have to do is doodle random shit on a white board, and they'll give you a mono-pod(it's a selfie stick) or a teddy bear! I initially wanted the teddy bear, but I don't have anywhere else to put it in my domain, so I took the selfie stick, which I know I will never use it. Gonna give it way as a present, or to someone who needs it in pftt.

Beside the teddy bear and the stick was.. an earpiece! I asked the person why they were not giving them out, cause I would take it if they do, but they replied with a speech. In the end, I couldn't catch their reason because of the LOUD music, and they didn't make any movement to replace my stick with it. So I smiled and nodded, before walking away blurred out by the whole situation. Bad idea to place a speaker right beside the booth. Humans have ears, place it somewhere where you know it won't constantly blast your eardrums, and they were from engineering, so smart.

Anyway, along the way, we saw a booth that gives out free Kachang Puteh, those small snacks omgg memories. I remembered eating them when they were selling it on the streets, and I loved the paper wraps around it. (and or course the snacks inside lol) Alias, Kachang Puteh is no more in the modern city of ours *sobs* Or maybe there is, but I don't see it as often as back then.

AND I've completed my comiss report PHEW. One less burden to worry about. Back to the manga! Currently, for fear of being addicted to a new manga, I'm reading back Slam Dunk - OOoo perfection.

Top in programming

To start off, my nights are getting longer and my sleep is getting shorter. I thought that a month and a half was awesome as holidays are closer, but I was so(very very)wrong. Having the same amount of project, with a shorter amount of time to complete, is TEDIOUS. Reports are piling up, and here I'm expecting another one.... WHY. The stress is killing me ;-; haiz

Now onto the BETTER things in school. I TOPPED programming in the cohort WOO. Brag brag brag, but listen to my part of the story. I'm filled with the smartest people in class and technically, competing with 120 students in the cohort, so being the top is a HUGE achievement. Being the me I am, my best is always the second best in someone else's book, and to top in something, it's AWESOME! The excitement must be shared AHHA. I even showed my mum the paper, which she have completely no idea about, just for her to see all the red ticks, and the beautiful A+ at the front LOL. Yes it seems like I have never had a A+ before in me life.. just joking. Still, it was completely unexpected, as I can never imagine myself in that position in a class of really smart people, again, WOO.

P.S// No, I'm not pulling others down in my class. I just wanna brag about something that is hard to achieve. It's like winning a gold medal in Olympics, and displaying it doesn't signifies that you are belittling your competitors, just simply proud. Ahem, logic.

I'm helping out in the open house on Friday and Saturday. Hopefully, I can steal some goody bag given to the students ahha.

Year 1 Sem 2-2 first day

First day of school for semester 2-2  woo. And as always, he is as boring as ever. I feel like sleeping now because of his talent. I can't imagine anyone who has a voice like him, smooth and consistent, talking to himself. He must be given a prize. Nevertheless, school STARTED. One and a half month later... it's the 2 month holiday! Currently it's project, projects and more project.

Year 2015

It's another NEW YEAR. New experience(not really), new friends(not really) and new FORTUNE(this is definitely a lie). How excitinggg. For once, I'm excited as I went for the countdown in MBS yesterday! Singapore is 50 years old!! SF gave us the ticket, and I wonder why she is not interested ._. It's FREE... so no cash was involved AHHA.

Anwww, the countdown was SUPERB. There were some popular band/group which I have no idea who they are, but it's still good, so I'll give a thumbsUp. In the end, the most important fact is that.... there was BIG BANG. That was the reason I stayed throughout the countdown, JUST to see them. Ain't I loyal, even though I'm not a fan. It's still awesome seeing stars in real life, so I was so hyped.
