Finished Dead Days Manhwa hue - 7.5/10

A pretty straightforward story, and this is one the few reads that has character's background story/flashback to which I enjoyed. After all, it tells a lot about the characters along the way to match them against the plot.

AFA 2015

The crowd still lives up to the standard set back in 2014, 13 hue. Nevertheless, it was great. We ate curry katsu rice upon entering and it was gooood, waltz with cos-players and friends cos-playing on camera, and shake with idols like OMG.

It was a bit dramatic. START STORY: We were ambling down the lane when someone barged and asked if we like a photo with --- and we said 'Okay' though we don't know who, but there is several hot guys standing together and they want the target to stand in the middle so, WHO AM I TO SAY NO TO THAT HEHE. 

We took individuals photo, shook hands (LIKE MADE PHYSICAL CONTACT LOL SO HYPE AT THAT POINT IN TIME) and left knowing who they are, a group called 'Junon superboys'. Not famous, yet, I hope. It's a bit wasted that we didn't ask for an autograph, they might become famous hue. BUT HEY IDOLS HOHO.

Similar, drama and TRIP

I completed the drama 'Bride of the Century" 6.5/10. Typical story and moderate acting from not bad actors & actresses.

and the anime "Eden of the East" 7/10. A roughly-expected ending, but I was enticed by the characters (Lead and protagonist especially) cause it resembles the famous pair in 'Howl's Moving Castle'. Both character traits and art is just, similar. Not bad a plot, it could have been a great manga if it exist.

Regular day in school, like the usual.

I realise that a lot of anime pictures, that I copied from facebook, disappeared on my blog post, leaving behind a hideous tiny pixel square. What is worst, is that many of my post consist of only pictures. Damn the ugliness of an entire post having numerous number of that square. EVEN WORST, I don't have the heart to delete it cause that day represents a date which is never going to pass again.

The art style is detailed, magnificent and just, great. Though like most action manga, I'm a bit disappointed that no main (and sub) characters died, it's unrealistic that they can survive an ordeal that obviously, they-don't-stand-a-chance-of-winning. It would be great if some sacrifices are made, to make it more realistic. Although the manga is based on a fiction where they don't exist, it still matters.

Other than that, it's a pretty good read. GO FOR IT.

Sem 2.2

ENDED THE FIRST WEEK OF SEMESTER 2.2.

Pretty good so far for the groupings of assignment, which plays a major role for grades so, AWESOME.

I've finished 'Oh my Ghost' drama week(s) back, and the actors in there are great cast. BUT the highlight for this post, that made me bring the drama back even though it already has a blog entry, is the police officer - Im Joo Hwan. His acting in the last few episodes made him omygod great, 10/10 actor. It was just a side crush like most great Korean actors, from Kill Me Heal me to other different drama actor liking, OR SO I THOUGHT..

THEN he appeared in running man episode 266, and I HAD THIS HUGE fangirl rush cause not only is he a great actor, but he is SO CUTE IN THE SHOW TOO LOL.

WISH ME LUCK FIGHTING

Oh Myyyy

Finished the Korean drama 'Oh My Ghost' a few days back and I would give it a 7.5/10. The protagonist annoys me in the beginning, but other than that, it's a pretty good show. I wanted to stop halfway, but prevented myself because the male lead is handsome KEE. Fortunately, it gets (a lot) better in the later episode.

Hang in there if you feel like quitting halfway like I did for this drama.

On a side note, I can't seem to find good manga nowadays. I spend more time searching for a good read than actually reading one, which is a waste of time that I moved a little more to dramas (Korean and HongKong) and the T.V. (which, unexpectedly, contains a lot of entertaining shows).

A few moments ago, I feel, just a teeny bit, bitter on this small change. That something that I always enjoy, has come to the point where it no longer provide the same purpose. No more clicking the page to move on to the next one, no more great manga piece that moves my heart, no more great manga left in the world ;-;

I CAN'T IMAGINE A WORLD IN THE FUTURE WHERE GOOD MANGA CEASE TO EXIST. I DON'T WANT TO. It has taught me so much about people, things and the earth that I don't think it will ever disappear from my life. I grow so much from it. People learn theirs from experience, books, speeches or even dramas, I learned it from all the different genres of manga. It plays an important role that I'm (currently) scared of it changing.

I KNOW CHANGE IS inevitable. You'll grow fond of things that you thought you'll never like and dislike things that you never thought of disliking.

Dear future me,
In any case, that you've come to the point where you no longer love manga as much as I do now, just remember, that it has once filled your world with experience that you've never experience yourself. 10 years in the past

ORANGE (TAKANO ICHIGO)

Completed the manga and for those that hate tragedy like me, don't worry it is not a tragedy. Cough I thought it was heading to that direction, I was horrified and wanted to stop halfway.

9/10 GOOOOOOD PIECE. The main protagonist isn't irritating (thank god), and the lead is not as well (thank god x100). Bitter sweet, touching and oh-so-relevant to lives all around us. One word to sum up the entire manga: Regrets

Driving intensive

From the start of holiday till now, I spent nearly 3/4 of it on driving practical. Not sure whether it's good or bad for my health ha, but I love it. It's fun. It's officially the second week of holiday and I just completed stage 3! Cheers woop, currently waiting for stage 4.02 at the driving centre and I figured that this space hasn't been updated for quite a while so here, what I've been doing.

I realise I spent more time on the tv than my laptop now, and again, hopefully that's not a bad thing. The sound of kids playing in the swimming pool is so tempting everyday that I wish to shut it off LOL. Damn it, needa wait for my friends to come over before I taste the saltiness of the chlorine-filled pool.

It seem like all I ever do in this blog is ANIME/MANGA. Sure there are sparse human pictures around, but just not as often compared to the regular spam I give on anime/manga guy. I don't have a lot, most of my idol crush ends pretty soon after I watch them through talk shows or variety shows. Pretty down-to-earth and he has those eyes that you cannot say no to (LOL FOR ME AT LEAST) Though I like him more in High School Musical, he is much more MAN in terms of a guy now, so fan's will take it either way. In the end, it's his smile that got me the most cause really, any good smile can light up the world HA.

ToDye, or Not ToDye

The sudden urge to dye my hair is strong this holiday. I've never done it before and in fact, I am pretty proud of my hair being untouched by colours. Not sure where the urge came from. BUT I WANNA DYEEE.

WAIT now thinking about it, guess I can say the urge is influenced by my mum, who happened to have those black, to brown, to red/maroon ombre hair that is not too overwhelming. Damn it, influence. Though she has never encouraged me to, the colours were pretty to the eye. How can it not do anything to me TILL these few days.

I'm still contemplating though. To lose my untouched hair and trade it for an awesome but temporary look, or to keep it to win the 'never had I dyed my hair' game in the future and force back the temptation?

For the record, I still love ma hair colour, I just wanna try something new, bold and fun that none of ma friends tried before ohho.

Soup and coin

The last presentation for this sem just ended, with both relief and, just a bit, disappointment. The teacher is kind enough to comment we did the worst in class. Twice. I was disappointed, but now it's more to 'Dude you've been saying that to us throughout this sem, from the interview to 50% of the tutorials' that eh, I got use it. Which is bad, because once you start to be immune to insults that are true, you'll never improve yourself. Thus, I tried to sound disappointed, but really, I was glad that it ended.

In all honesty, I think she holds a grudge on me for idk what reason. Whether it is true or not, it is something I will never, and never want to, know. 

NOWNOW the highlight.

Yx and I was again buying from the prawn noodles store at 22, and the food is already served on the tray in front of her. We haven't paid for our meal and I was standing there (Duh how can you run), playing with the coins on my hand, while waiting for the man to receive our money. 

AND BLOOOOBBB goes the coins I was playing. Into Yx's soup of freshly cooked fishcakes and toufu, that are no longer edible.

Just joking, it is edible. I was fully prepared to switch my bowl with her, since it was indeed my coin that polluted her soup, and that we ordered the same thing. BUTBUT the cashier is kind enough to offer a new bowl of soup and omegod after receiving his kindness, I feel guilty. I'm perfectly fine with eating a soup that is garnished with coins, and thinking of how the food of coins will be thrown away hurts me more than eating the bowl of soup with coins. (lol do I make sense)

The store has always been friendly, from the smiley uncle to the guy who exchanged the meal for a new one. I'll always feel indebted to them ;-; (Or until something happened)

Finished SHIN SEKAI YORI in 3 hours, am I great AHA. When my exams are coming in 2 weeks time.
Eh pretty typical storyline, though be warned, a lot of sacrifices were made, 8/10.

Compromise

First off, I'm a person that believe any grudges or displease towards a friend, should be settled right away. Really, it will snowball and turn for the worst in the near future, after experience taught me.

At the same time, to end the argument, the two party must first compromise each other. Well I did talked it out, and said I'm done with the whole thing, and that we'll take it as something in the past. 

But no, there is something aching in the back of my mind. And that is because I don't think the other person compromised. I said what I wanted, and A did as well. However, I seem to be the one agreeing with A, and whatever I said, A reason it with something else. It seemed like the apology said is to make the whole thing look like it's settled, but it's not? And no matter how I read it, it seems like I'm the only one reflecting on my actions and A didn't. It seemed like A thinks he/she made no mistake. Really, this isn't compromising at all.

Compromise - an agreement or settlement of a dispute that is reached by each side making concessions.

Whatever it is, I am a person of my word so, I would forgive whatever that has happened even though the conversation ended one-sided. And I technically did say I will forget about it. 

Next time, really, it wouldn't be that easy for the other person until it is clear, but at the same time, I hope that there would be no next time.

I'm suddenly really really excited for the USS Halloween Horror Night EVEN THOUGH it's months away. COZCOZ we might be getting the VIP R.I.P Tour!! I read the review val shared and omg it sounds so grand and coooooooool. I have never been on a VIP position and trying it on the FIRST Halloween trip, and for the FIRST time. IT'S AWESOMEEE, and DA BEST.

K hyped now and just sharing the joy, though we might not even get the ticket HAHA Imagining the scene now is already exciting OHHO

5 assignment deadlines is tomorrow, and gosh I have a friend gathering tomorrow as well. Which sucks because I have to choose between the two, when the two is obviously important. Guess this is where people say 'To juggle between your family and friends, and work is not easy'. Indeed, in all truthness, I would choose work. Just because really, it is much more important in the sense that I like what I'm doing and to give it my best is something I want to do. Heyhey that inspiration.

Okok the reason being, I have this tendency to worried about things when I'm outside, and the purpose of going out is to have fun and relax right? If I can't do both, what is the point of going out. I would just worry and have this feeling of wanting to go back home to finish what I didn't complete. So what I'm saying is that if I can choose, what is worst? The guilt of abandoning my friends, or the guilt of handing up a shitty work. Honestly, shitty work it is.

In conclusion, to the outing on Friday, I would skip it if I cannot finish the assignment to my satisfaction.

Garden by the Bay

Went to Garden by the Bay yesterday! And gosh it's. so. refreshing. Though the weather says otherwise cough, ever-hot-and-green Singapore. We needed to take pictures for our assignment, and I picked the Chinese Garden to work on.THE PLACE IS AMAZINGGGG, and we stayed outside and not in the dome, but still AMAZING.

GOSHH taking pictures on the camera is AWESOMEEE.

Pretty flowerssss

After nearly 2 hours under the sun, we went to an air-conditioned coffee shop which is EXPENSIVE. It was meant to portray the old-times geez the price shouldn't differ as well. I bought a cup of iced Milo and it cost me $3.80. It sounds low but HEY a regular iced drink cost like $1.50, or at most $2 the way it worked in Singapore. My friend bought those egg-bread-drink set that we often see in food court and it cost her $8 WHEN one can buy it for $2 in a regular kopitiam as a set. Like dude, what a rip off, waywayWAYYYYY Overpriced. 

Those tourist who came have no idea what they are in for. Though thinking through, I guess they charged people like us who visited their outskirt garden, without paying anything. Thus, this is a way for them to earn our money? Gosh If I was those hardcore cheapos, I would take the time and effort to go somewhere else, but again, I don't think it'll make a difference seeing that it's surrounded by buildings and towers of the city. What does that mean you say? It meant that price will be the same there.

But then again, if I'm a hardcore cheapos, I would have already come prepared with food and drinks. So what am I even debating LOL I'm not even a hardcore cheapo, just, one that will pay but complain while doing so and knowing that I have complete rights to choose not to pay BUT STILL DO SO.
