Sakamichi no Apollon

I've always like manga and it's no secret. Though I have read more than a few hundreds of them, there's none amongst them that has ever made me 'deeply' touch. Until today. Sakamichi no Apollon. Well, truthfully, this manga doesn't stand out at all. I thought it would be another simple love story, with some drama here and there like usual. But surprisingly, it was a good piece. A really good one. The part that made me feel all tingly inside was chapter 36. There they say 'Always expect the unexpected', and there goes something that I never did expect. Right in the kokoro. A pleasant one. 9/10.

Another Wednesday

WHAT no classes?

SHIT I arrived early in the morning 7.14am for my 8am class. TO realise that I have no 8am class, which starts on 5 Jun. WHATT omg waste of my time. I should be asleep at home now.

K I'll update for what happened these 3 days. But before that, on the last post, I was complaining about being lonely at the Fiesta, and several post back I was writing about how I like to be alone. TO clarify, being ALONE and LONELY is different. I do like being alone in a solitude environment, it gives me time to myself. But being alone in a crowd, it's suffocating and lonely. The surrounding is crucial. K the end.

22 April, Wed
On the second day of the Fiesta, I had dinner with cw kel and val. The motive for dinner was to try a Korean dessert that is, just nice, at the shopping mall beside our school. We met after class, and headed for diner at Saizieria(I think that's how you spell it but I'm not sure), and for the dessert.

It was scrumptious. The milk taste is awesome, and the mochi - which I don't know existed, until when I was chewing, and wondered why this almond isn't the normal texture. It scared me for a bit. 8/10 delicious dessert.

The dinner was great too, cause it was cheap ahha. We had that on the day of TreeTop too. 

23 Apr, Thur
We draw lots for our grouping, and miraculously, I ended up being in the same group with the poly gang, except yx LOL. I hope work doesn't affect our friendship, you know how serious it is when they say that you can't differentiate your school work and relationship. One conflict may, or may not, destroy the entire friendship connection in our gang.

Ended One Outs, 8/10. It's a good psychological manga, but not the best ohho.

Start of Year 2

Whoa the first and second(today) day of a brand new Year 2 is NOT a good start. Errors kept appearing on my laptop, and by the time I resolved it, I'm already home where I don't need to do anything important.

Second. I was alone for the booth while other clubs have more than enough people helping them out. Much envy. Though we can't help it with the lack of man power, it's still sad. 

Thirdly, because of the fiesta, I missed out the practical, which I have completely no idea about, one that we have to hand it in on Sunday, and the instructions doesn't help a shit. SO done with school, and it's only the second day. What could go wrong tomorrow?

NOW let's look at the brighter side of things.

A friendly freshie came and talked with meh for around thrity minutes, her reason for her presence was that she's ditching her orientation. She was kind enough to stay and talked with me, either because she knew I was alone, or to kill time, or because no one else was willing to talk to her Idk. But it was great, though her orientation leader came afterwards and took her back, it was still great.

Next. Because the committee couldn't make it due to their orientation, I thought they won't even drop by to say hi. Well, they did. Only my president did actually. He even told his friend to take a picture of the booth, with him and I inside. Well, mostly to publicise. But at least he came over and acknowledge my existence. And most of the freshie who came and asked about the club, are people who know him personally. 

Next. The poly gang came over during lunch break, and I was pretty much dying at that time, since it's been near 3 hours of loneliness. Either I was too down, or the fact that it's people I'm closed with, seeing them was EXTREMELY overwhelming. I was soso touched glad relieved assured protected at that moment in time. The feeling was warm, really warm. Fortunately, I didn't shed a tear. (K I did feel the tears filling my eyes, but I held it back cause seriously, seeing my friends isn't that of a big deal while some others lost their family) Guess this shows how weak I am when I'm alone in a crowd, or when people around me have friends and I don't (there of course). THUS, concludes the end of the first day of Fiesta. Random thought: did the poly-mates saw my eyes omg

So let's change the question to a brighter note - What surprises awaits tomorrow? - ew that didn't sound bright at all, but indefinitely better than 'what could go wrong'.

Pandora Hearts

Pandora Hearts. It was a popular series that has been runnng for as long as I can remember, and it is finally completed. I just finished it. Mainstream manga's storyline is always this good, and that's why it's popular in the first place ohho 9/10. So many sacrifices were made, I just can't T.T

From comments, it seems like an anime was made from the series. I might give it a go, if the first episode is nice. But like every great book, the movie can never, ever, overtake the original.

So I went for RAMS training today, a risk assessment thingy. AND I started on a new series - Pandora Hearts. It's finally completed goshh, just reached chap 4. So far so good woop.

Update: Just reached chapter 10.

Untold story

I was reading a link someone shared on FB and it was a mystery/dark story that I'm not even sure if it's a fake one. I wanted to share it here but I'm too scared to T.T K that is the untold story on-line, not mine - for those that was mislead by the title ohho. Goosebumps appeared after reading half-way(I guess), and it's not even scary when I was reading that particular part, just Plain Creepy.

Day DONE. My aunt went to visit the new house with us, and commented on our small bedroom which is true D:

New House

Woop so we finally went into our new house. It was SMALLER than we expected so damn it. We stayed till around 5+ and we're going again tomorrow to take the measurement and stuff. Had dinner at Jack Place and restock our goods.

Yesterday - 10 April
Not sure what happened before the evening, but I know what happened after ehhey. With the usual gang, we packeted food from lot 1 and ate at the new house area. A new hideout in a new condo how about that. After our so called dinner, we took over the empty playground and destroyed the premises with our adult body. . . Nay, that unfortunately didn't happen OHHO. There's a bouncy see-saw and we played with that the most, and it's surprisingly tiring after bouncing up and down for a while. I'm officially old at 19 sob. Went back home after walking for a bit more and that's the end of the day.

Fancy Restaurant

K we collected our new house key in the early afternoon, and that was all for the key collection. Nothing special.

NOWNOW the good part. We went to this fancy restaurant near Clark Quay, and their chicken base soup for the steamboat is NICEEE. Those herb taste and their mala soup base is spicy enough too. OH and we ordered la mian, and the person personally came up to the table and made a show for us! He was swinging the dough till it became long and flat. Before throwing it in the hot steamboat. It was AWESOMEEE. Btw we had a room all to ourself.

Their service - Top Notch man. The waitress seems to predict your every next movement or something. Sososo what happened: I wanted to take a pudding from the buffet counter, so I stood up, then the waitress was like "Wo bang ni na tian ping" - translate - I'll help me take the dessert. Like HOW does she know I want dessert, she didn't even ask what dessert and immediately asked how many pudding we need, there's like fruits as well at the counter like whattt. Is she standing outside the door listening to our conversation omg so observant.. or sneaky.

We always had dinner at around 5+, so we did. There's only one slot left at that timing and the door clerk was like"You are very lucky to get a table this timing. People usually need to reserve a week in advance or there'll be no tables" Ohho thanks I'm always lucky.

SO I assumed their waiting time is always long. Why? Outside the restaurant, there's several so called 'waiting tables' that serve tea and small tidbits to customer/guest that are waiting to go in. SO WOO. Tell me which other restaurant you've been to treat their WAITING customer with utmost care? I don't mind waiting, just so I could eat the peanuts, popcorn and chips. They have 4 trays of it, and they top-up too whaoo. Bummer, we went there too early and didn't wait at all, so neither of us get the tidbit provided by those tables BOO.

WAIT there's more. FREE manicure AHH. Like seriously?! FREEEE so off I go. Initially I was deciding whether to take the cool blue, or sparkly one, and the person was like "Why not both?" AHHA so I took it. Which restaurant provide free manicure just because their customer eat there. I went to a steamboat restaurant somewhat like this, and I have to pay for their karaoke, so NOT fine, technically I still have to pay. Things like manicure-how can they not charge customer, cheapos(cough not like me) will take advantage of it man.

SOOoo I infer that they are suffering from a loss LOL. Like please, how can you have the money to provide a buffet counter, waiting tables with food, playground for kids and FREE manicure for ladies out there. It seems too much for a normal restaurant to handle, the price is SO reasonable, not ex at all. The next time I go there, I'll just order one plate of meat, fill myself up with food from their buffet counter and do the manicure - which cost less than $30. OHHO.

BTW I was never into cosplayers, cause most destroyed the image I have for a character. SOO I was scrolling thru the usual routine, and I found a GOOD-looking guy that cosplay. RARE kind spotted.

SO Idk how I searched/google for FIFTEEN MINUTES - things I do with my life - AND I found the cosplayer, omg how pro (or lucky) am I - HERE  Idk why I can't copy the image to fangirl here but whatever, it's for my reference anyway. Nay. That's all I have, will write about some other things LOL. Reading back Savage Garden and the artwork is still unbeatable. Cw told us abt the top traffic source, and I realised it's where people find out where your blog/website is from oo. Thing is that this blog's top current traffic source is Google, and I find it sad tho I can't find the reason why. Everyday never seizes to amaze me. OH and I helped to packed several stuff into the boxes my dad brought back, and we threw away TONS of toys, notebooks and CDs.

MY Barbie Doll Movie's niennnn WHYY. I was telling my mum it's a waste to throw them all out, I have like the whole collection of it, and it's GONE. I only kept 2 of my favourite in the end, coz I'm too 'grown up' to watch pretty plastic dolls with handsome plastic dolls living a happily ever after. The entire black plastic bag is filled with CDs old and new. But I guess now that we have the internet, DVD and CD just don't work as well as they use to anymore. I feel like donating all of it, books as well. But oHHH well, it's gone finished done and over."We're only getting older babe. I've been thinking about things lately. Does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes? Everything that you ever dream of disappearing when you wake up."

Off in the evening to Nook, and we get to draw our own pancakes woop. The place is near NP and it's shocking cause I thought it would be far, and not, well, near.

Sunday
Mathieu joined us! He had serious mosquito bites that look a lot like chicken pox, but it's not, and his cute face is covered with it noo hope he recover soon. And omg he has become much more interactive, fun and he respond to almost everything we want him too AHH. Like pan-kiss, bye and he learned to say 'whao' in a very dramatic way, which is hilarious. We pass him a paper crown from BK and he was adorable playing with it AHH. K fangirling moment end. He is like the cutest baby I've seen in my life till now. Some babies(I feel bad) really doesn't look as cute as what everybody says they are. But I get it 'every child is the cutest in their parents eyes' and blah, I'll respect that and shut up now.

We ate dinner at the exact place where he shot the artistic photo. I must share. The fried mee fen there is niceee.

Today so far
BF in fajar and I find their lor mee nicer than the prawn noodles now. Gym later with them again. OH I watched Anastasia recently and Why that sudden interest? I heard the song 'Once upon a December' and I thought it was pleasant, so I wanted to know the entire story that, you know, contribute to the song. Pretty standard for the 90's and the family that is portrayed in the movie, is actually referenced from the real family name. That's something we don't see everyday in cartoon films ohho. Many people mistook the movie as a disney film, and I can't blame them. I thought it was as well, mainly because of the music and the 'happily ever after' theme. K rant end.

Shall watch RM now since I have the time. Currently, I've no motivation to start on any manga after such a great one like Pluto sob. The empty feeling of completing a good series is still lingering. Till I find a masterpiece like that, I shall not write about manga ever again.

A great one

Finished Pluto, and it's been a long time since I've completed a great one. Everything, the characters, the plot, and the values, was written so flawlessly omg. 10/10, full recommendation for this great piece. It may not be to everyone's taste(Cough. Great for those mystery/psychological genre lovers - like me). A deep, tragic and beautiful storyline.
