Timekeeper

Finally read 'The Timekeeper' by Mitch Albom. I've put it off since Secondary 4, which is 3 years ago! A good book, but it cannot beat the first one I read from him - Tuesdays with Morrie. It brought sparks in my puberty days and I remembered being so infatuated with the quotes that I have pages full of it in my school dairy! Ahh memories~

But the book that remained at the top of my list is 'The five people you meet in heaven'. It was the one that changed my perspective on people and made me focus more on those that care than those that don't. I MISS THOSE SIMPLE TIMES.

Sorry not sorry for the spam xx

Perth - Day 1

Day 1
The sunflower garden at T2 (I THINK) which was right next to the game console area.
The food on the plane. Our flight was 0005 so I had this meal in half-sleep condition. Arrived in Perth, ate burgers at the airport, received our car keys and off to adventure!
Getting used to the GPS and arrived at the wrong destination for Cottesleo Beach, but the view is marvellous nevertheless!
The coastal place with our rented car~
Drove and arrived at Cottesleo Beach afterwards. It is a secluded spot with barely anyone around, with a magnificent sea view! Other than that I don't see what else is special about this beach~
We head for the Frementle market next. Had hotdogs while walking around the market - which resembles Bugis street without all the people. It was around 9am when we arrive here. I forgot to take a picture of the place noo.

Frementle Prison was next. Unfortunately we didn't stay as we were too early. Most tours have designated timings (later) and we figured roaming around is more fitting for our schedule.
We travelled to the coastal area of Rocking-hams. The wind was so strong that sand build up on a bench area further away from the beach!

The beautiful sea along the pier~
We found out there was a visitor centre nearby, made a visit and got more information on what to do for the next few days. Though we already have most planned, we still took a lot of brochures - which we ended up not using.

There is plants under the transparent glass we're standing on, and I thought it would be great for a picture! But the flowers can't be seen T-T At least the star formation came out well.

Had Fish' n Chips for lunch, and my god the portion is huge when we only ordered two sets. We head for our apartment after filling our stomach, and slacked there till 2pm+ before exploring a nearby shopping mall. We were staying in the CBD area, so there is quite a number of malls.

Our first shopping~ We bought necessities - milk, bread, ham and more food than stuff we actually used. By the time we finish grocery shopping, most shops has already closed - roughly 6pm - which is considered early but in Perth, it's their norm.

It was a chillax first day.

P.S Writing this on 20 June xx

The fateful meeting in a dream

Had a sudden recollection of a dream that has JJY in it so I must jot it down before it disappears from my memory. Unfortunately, as much as I want to meet idols in my dream, I haven't T-T UNTIL a day, which was a while back, THAT I MET JJY IN MY DREAM YES.

It was one of the best morning BECAUSE I MET HIM VIRTUALLY LOL.

To start off, I was shopping with my mum, not sure whether there were other people around, but I'm pretty sure my mum was beside me. We walked by a small store (The size of those second hand clothing store), with a small stage in the middle of the entrance and a band was playing for their newly open franchise or something.

I swear at that moment when I saw the lead singer, I thought "Omg he look like JJY" and was about to shake it off when I turn and realised "my god he seriously look like JJY" AND FREAK OUT TO MY MUM. I was SHAKING her arm and TRYING SO HARD not to look like a loser but I can't contain my excitement because IT WAS REALLY HIM.

THE best (or worst) part was that no one was paying attention, every passerby passed, so I was the only audience, WHICH WAS AWESOME but sad at the same time, as he is not deserving the attention he should for an artist. People, a relatively famous person is singing free for us are you guys blind?!

ANYWAY CONTINUING. In the midst of freaking out, THEY END THE SONG (OF ALL MOMENT TO END YOU END WHEN I STARTED) and left the stage. It was a small corridor so they entered the store to exit from the back door (Don't tell me how I know they were exiting cause instincts).

SO I ran (FAST) cause they were speed walking. Once I caught up to them and was too much of a coward to call his name, I grabbed his arm in a hurry. IN A SPLIT SECOND MY HEART SCREAMED OMG I TOUCHED JUNGJOONYOUNG. WOO I CAN DIE IN PEACE NOW. LET'S CELEBRATE ON THE BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE.

I asked for a picture and he didn't say anything cause I was already holding my phone up for a selfie. Let me take a minute to talk about how nerve-wrecking holding the phone was and making sure that I don't look like a crazy fan girl but a regular person in the camera. It ain't easy with an idol standing so close, and practically breathing the same area of air as I am. Cough *BREATHE NORMALLY*

He played around by avoiding the camera a bit (OMG HE JOKED AROUND) while flashing his signature half-smile like omg. How can such a winsome person exist *Nosebleed*, and I remembered grinning the whole time. THERE WAS NO TIME TO STOP SMILING. Unfortunately, he ended the short session by posing with the egoistic pose (with his face up) as he always does.

After that, when we part, he SMILED and WE made EYE CONTACT! IF ONLY time can stop and replay so that I can rewind to that very moment every waking minute. I have never seen an idol THIS FREAKING CLOSE before, and to TOP it all, the idol that is at the top of my list of idols to meet. He left with his band-mates as I weep goodbye to his silhouette.

EVEN THOUGH it was only a dream, the adrenaline rush was so genuine that when I woke up, it took me a few sad seconds to realise it didn't exist. How can one's series of thoughts leads to an experience that is so life-like and real? TELL ME HOW DREAMS WORK SO THAT I CAN CONTROL IT TO MY LIKING PLEASE.

Also dear brain, let me meet him once, or few times, more. I need it since the probability of him coming to Singapore is near zero, and that practically means the chances of meeting him is zero too. I CAN DREAM CAN I?
