Assignments

Am I or am I not?

When completing assignment, I always complain how stressful it is and how it takes up so much of my time, but I don't hate it really. Then I wondered if this is what I asked for?

If I had taken my time to schedule and plan what to complete, I actually have way more time than cramping everything on the last few day. The school is smart enough to give the right amount of time needed to complete this amount work. So what are the factors that's still stressful to me?

Group works.
There is no such thing as a timetable or schedule because it'll only work if your work mate cooperates. If you assigned the work, what are the chances that they will listen? Fortunately this semester, my assignment life has been awesome as there is one less burden. But what about the next? How can I ensure that they will adhere to the task assigned? I'M SCARED.

At the same time, for group assignments, a team of A+ acquaintance is not that great either. Everyone will just assume the other person will do cause they are all 'smart', and that this team is reliable. In the end, who is the one that actually did the work? The hard-working ones. Not all A+ students are hard-working and not all hard-workers scores A+. There are individualist who do extremely well for their own reports, and leave the group portion to their team members. Some members who actually did more than the rest aren't rewarded fairly as well. It is a poor unit of measurement of a person's intelligence and team work. As after-all, teachers will always favour A+ students and students that speaks well.

What about the rest?

The arts of procrastination.
Oh god, this is the main and ultimate reason why nearly every students is suffering from "No time to finish", and I'm guilty as well. I read post and websites of how procrastination can be stop, and realise it's really up to the individual. If the person sincerely wish to change and stop their ways of being lazy, they'll pick it up in no time.

I'm too lazy to continue LOL.
Ironic isn't it.

What am I up to

What am I up to nowadays?

Nothing.
Besides assignments, I spent the whole time watching 2 Days 1 Night, and nothing. Staring into space, rolling on the bed, scrolling through T.V channels, stalking my idol so on and forth.

Here's to update about my peaceful life.
PEACE OUT.

Yuureitou

YUUREITOU - 9/10.

Quality quality. Horror, mystery and though I read it cause I have the feel to start on a gender bender genre which was stated on this manga, but was totally off, the plot is deep enough for me to continue. Recommended for those that love mystery. No romance, but still great.

The worst interviewer I've met so far

Today is the first formal interview I have with the school, and it's not great. The more I think about it, the more annoyed I am.

Never assume or stereotype where the person came from.

"If you are financially stable, it's okay if we don't send you on the trip right?" Tell me how does the money my parent's earn, relate to me signing this trip out of my own interest? This was never about our financial background, rich or poor, it's about those who have the qualification to enter with their own achievements. It's like saying "Oh you are financially unstable, we must send you on the trip cause you don't get to experience these things as much as a rich person does." It's insulting both the stable and unstable.

"I heard people from ICT cares a lot about gadget, technology and objects, more than society today?"
"Oh you like drawing, it must be manga or anime art right?"
"You read books, it must be about Japanese culture?"

Like what the hell is wrong with you. It's true that in different schools, there is different kinds of people, and more of 'these' kinds would appear in a specific school.

That DOES NOT imply that everyone is the same under similar teaching.
It's like asking a student "People from ITE or Poly is not as good as JC right?" or an Asian "People from Asia have small eyes right?" or a female "Shouldn't you stay at home and cook instead?" STEREOTYPING.

Girl, you are living in the twenty first century, prejudices is something that should be prevented, not promoted. As an educator and interviewer, you are doing a terrible job presenting your image to your student.

Overall, I was pissed because I wasn't able to defend my title as a student of my school at that point in time. You have not seen what people from the school of ICT achieved cause you're so blinded by your perception of what people say or the people you've met.

Residing my anger, I realised that people like her are those that cannot be educated by words, but by experiencing it themselves. Then would they know how narrow-minded some people are, before they realise they are what they say.

Views on K-Drama

Two post in one day! Cause I don't wish to mix the first post with this.

I'm not sure whether it's the show, or me, but I can't seem to complete Korean dramas nowadays. I watched 'She was Pretty', and got irritated at the lead actress role. Thus, I stopped at episode 6. I watched YongPal recently, as it is pretty famous from award shows and friends. But I stopped at episode 8 where they (SPOILER) kissed. The timing is too fast for a couple that just started falling in love, plus, that scene wasn't calling for a kiss, it's not paced smoothly.

From there, I made a conclusion: As long as there is good-looking leads, male or female, the drama would be popular regardless of how golden the storyline is. If the plot is good, it's great (YongPal). If it's not, people still call it good anyway. Like tell me, how is "She was Pretty" any different from dramas where the lead actress plays dumb, but manage to get a handsome guy to fall for her anyway? It's over-rated.

Though I have to admit, these kind of dramas were what attracted me a few years back. I guess the legend must continue for girls my age back then.

In conclusion, I can no longer watch mainstream drama without judging those people who claim it's 'GREAT'. "How is this a masterpiece?"

Re-updating: Apparently, I followed my friend's advice to continue Yong Pal, cause it gets better from there. No. It didn't. I watched it all till episode 18 with lots of skipping. Don't. It's a waste of time if you already think the drama is dropping in quality, especially this.

Having a good plot is one thing, obtaining a good pacing is another. If it's too rushed, it won't give viewers time to digest or take in the climax at one, much less talk about a revenge to another and forgiveness after. Sometimes, a drama about love triangle with good pacing, is better than a complicated action plot with a horrible one.

4/10.
If you are one to know of what is required to make a great drama, don't watch it.

Day 13 into the year - JUNG JOON YOUNG

Currently, it's the choinging of assignments with all the deadlines in February.

Though it's still a pretty chillax semester compared to last semester (I better don't jinx myself)

WHAT 2016 ALREADY?

I'M NOT READY. How can it be 2016 already? It's like yesterday when I first saw Big Bang perform live for 2014 countdown all the way to first of 2015, a year passed?! TOO FAST.

I'm old. THE START OF MY TWENTIES, and I feel indifferent to that age.
"How am I suppose to act my age when I have't been this old before?" T-T

Putting that aside, Imma talk about my current love interest in the celebrity world.

He is in 2 Days 1 Night.
Debuted from Superstar K.
An awesome singer and a born weirdo LOL.

JUNG JOON YOUNG. LIKE OMG, he's voice is to die for: Deep and haunting.

It started with 2D1N. I guessed it's his charms, lucks and wits that got most viewers liking him or something, or that I flow with the flow cause he is just so random LOL. After taking an interest for him in the show, my friend showed the voice that got him famous - Becoming Dust.

After that, the obsession worsen. What more do you expect of a guy that has a personality to your liking, plays guitar and sings well? NOTHING LOL IT'S SUFFICIENT. I watched 'We Got Married' because he is in it, heard almost every song he sang, and caught up to most variety shows he is in heh.

He may not be the 10/10 visual compared to mainstream-Korean idols,
It's the personality of his that stands out: unique. HO.

HIS VOICE IN MISSED CALL <CLICK. HAUNTING AND BEAUTIFUL. I got goosebumps the first time T-T
And another of my favourite Spotless Mind T-T
