The feel of holiday

Ahhh finally after my holiday started, I have the actual feels of 'relaxing'. All events seem to be pooping out once it started. From outings to dinners to cca, there wasn't much of a R&R day, till today that is. Went to fajar for bf and home for the entire day. So peaceful.

Yesterday was ren ri, so we ate at Swensen's. Walked around Daiso after that and back home to continue the manga - "Taiyou No Ie". I stopped half-way, and no I'm not continuing.

The moment when you start rooting for the guy that is never gonna get the girl in the end, is the moment you should stop. Yes, there are manga that ends up with the second guy instead of the lead, but those that happen will never be near the list of 'top' manga. Pity. Then again, manga char the ends up with the second guy, are usually poorly written, they never really allow the audience to put down their hopes for the lead, before pairing the protagonist up with him/her, so, ew. Spoiler(highlight if you dare): I rarely go for the supporting characters that are after the girl, but Daiki was a good guy. So bala bim bala boom, I was rooting for him NO D:     K the end. The manga was going so well.

I can never understand why the singer is placed at the back, while the one who 'made' the music is at front. After all, the voice of the singer is the one that lingers no?

Lemme try to summarise what happened, cause I'm too lazy to for the past few days.

19 Feb, Thursday
Off to me grandma's house in the late morning, and ate lunch. Ah-ma's steamboat and mo hiong is still so so niceee. Rested there till around 2/3+ before heading to E-po house. There's always the M&M chocolate inside the red round container, but surprisingly this time round, there wasn't any nien. So I tried the dairyMilk bar, since that was one of the few things that changed inside the container. Hai. I've never liked chocolate bars, so that re-surfaced my dislike for it, and I regretted it half-way through.

Went back to grandma's house for dinner, and 2nd Aunt's family came and stayed till around 8+. We went home at the same time and that's the end of the first day. This sounds short, but yes, it's a WHOLE day.

20 Feb, Friday
Off to (idk what number) uncle's house for lunch. Usually, when we arrived, there would already be a number of people circulating around the house and corridors. But this time round', we were the first among the other guests. Ate and waited for the others to arrive, but surprisingly, there wasn't much? And those that came were also late, as the lunch started at around 11+, but they came between 12 - 2 pm. Considerate much. No, I wasn't unhappy about receiving lesser ang pao, since we left before the rest of the guest came(and we give out lesser too), but the fact that they made the host wait, and worried, is where they are Inconsiderate.

K next. Initially, we were suppose to head to grandma's house again, but after hearing me cousins playing mahjong, I'm in WOO. Won $13 AHHA after years of losing to them, it was one of the few times that I won monehhh. Played backjack later in the evening, and Mathieu came WOO. He is still sho sho cute.

21 Feb, Saturday
Off to E-wei aunt's house, and sat around. Off to AH-boy jiu jiu parent's house next. They live in an old folk's HDB? And it's SO simple, which I likeee. They have almost everything built in for them, and their view from the house is beautiful. Till then, I remembered it being lunch time, at around 12/1 +, and we realised that we haven't had a proper meal, for lunch or breakfast.

So off to IMM and we ate in Kopitiam, before fetching Jor to play mahjong WOOO. Won $2 after near three hours of playing. Off to dinner at around 6.30 pm + at the place behind the Jurong hawker centre. Back homeee and I figured out the concept behind T-spin of tetris WOO.

Today
Off to great world city for the Japanese buffet. The last time I went there, I remembered that there was a lot of different varieties to choose from. But this time round, there is lesser, or maybe it's just me. After brunch, we watched Dragon Blade. It was.. alright. (Mini spoiler - highlight to read on if you dare)I was hoping for the angmo villain to win, since the plot was heading towards that direction, so bleh, it didn't. THE END. 6/10. After the movie, we headed to Tiong Baru's hawker centre for dinner. Went home and here I am typing this.

Sunday before CNY

Went out bright and early, not really ahem 11am, to Suntec City. Ate at Food republic on the round basement that has the golden fountain in the middle. We walked till 4+ and went to Ikea, before realising that we were hungry at 4.30. So after a few steps, literally, after we enter the entrance, we walked out, we decided to go to the same old steamboat place for dinner. Went to Bangkit to finish the last minute CNY shopping. Those red decorations.

Jon Cozart

I've just watched "After ever After - Disney Parady" by Paint - his channel name. It's brilliant. Someone shared his video on FB, and I was a little late (ok very late, since the video is a year back - 2 years,since it's 2015 now gosh), but Jon Cozart's voice and accent omgg. I got that song stuck in my head for hours, and his expression too kee.

Better news.
YEAR ! of poly has ended, so YAY.

Cheers to the completion of me first school year. We'll receive our result online or by phone I think. The last paper was.... hard, difficult, and the chance of failing will be 99.99%, so Damn it. What's past has past. I'll be going out with me poly friends on Monday to buy new year clothing, and to celebrate the end of the school year YIPPEE.

FMS tmr

The FMS paper is 2 hours, and seeing the past year papers and their level of difficulty. I WILL FAIL MAN. There's 9 chapters to memorise and the qn they test are as specific as.... well, for example, We learn about 5 animals, and they'll ask like "What is the favourite food of a American Singer Canary?". SO we have to know the name of the bird, and the DETAILS of the bird, among the aprox 10,000 species of birds NIEN. (Okay, maybe not 10,000 inside the chapters of FMS, but you get the idea)

It's funny how I'm complaining here, when I could use the time now to study. Haix such is life.

Sunday Again

A quick summarising of today - Went to Parkway parade, shopped, and off to the same old steaboat place for dinner. Home now, and I'm typing this.

I have FMS on Friday, and the paper consist of 50% on the entire module. If I fail the paper, I would fail everything, and if I ace it, and I would ace everything. It's both frightening and amusing. Nevertheless, I'll start tmr when I have the Monday feels for it. There's no school this week, until the Friday paper so booYeah.

Just finished Koisuru Sha Girl, it's a nice one shot. Yesterday, I watched 'Howl's Moving Castle' after years of wondering if I should watch it, and just so happen Kel brought up the topic. It was a weird movie. Then again, all Japanese films are weird, and lovely... and often a times, bitter sweet. I guessed I pulled it off for the longest time, as I was worried that the protagonist would not end up with the lead. Like.... Spirited Away, even though technically, they never did show whether he ended up with the protagonist. Or Princess Mononoke, who technically, didn't end up together as well. So I'm GLAD that the ending of Howl's was.... well, together. Cheers to great ending. NEXT.

Saw the anime version of Disney Princess. Omegod. And it's published in 2011 gasp. Rapunzel Tangled came out in 2011 then? It's 4 years since it's released?! I... feel old. (Bella is chosen in this picture) But I'll always love Aurora - Sleeping Beauty, in terms of the real Disney princess look.

OOP tmr

There's a OOP walkthru tomorrow. I started using the pen my aunt gave for Christmas last yearrr, and it's SO SPARKLY. I can't capture the sparkles in the camera though, no matter how I tried. Damn it, can't show it off.

Either way, this was the best I could do.

The sparkles near the edge is what it looks like throughout the gem stone part! Woo shiny pen. Imagine writing it during a test, and the person beside/behind can't concentrate as the sparkles blinded them every time I move my pen. Ahha, then again, the one writing is also affected.
